Community & Most Wanted Charts of March 2014

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for: The monthly rundown of our very own Community Charts! Ever since we changed our rankings up and split downloadable titles from retail ones, they have been oh so lively! Nary a month passes without some big changes among your favourite games, leading to the big question: Who will come out on top?

Okay, who are we kidding here. Just as last month, there has been next to no change in the top 10 list of your favourite games. Actually, this time it’s even worse: There really has been no change. At all. Not a single position swap among the lower ranks, no new entries like the recently released Yoshi’s New Island or Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, no nothing. On top of that, even our eShop and Virtual Console charts are at a standstill. On the plus side, we’re expecting this to change next month due to our system weeding out inactive accounts that were taken into consideration after implementing our current ranking system. Until then… Take a look at the list you know from last month.

Thankfully, the Most Wanted charts were a lot more lively. While Super Smash Bros. dominates the list, as usual, the release of Yoshi’s New Island and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney opened up space for newcomers and old favourites alike. Fantasy Life and Bravely Second in particular managed to grab the 2nd and 3rd place respectively, whereas Etrian Odyssey Untold and Monster Hunter 4 grabbed this opportunity and jumped higher on the list as well. With Persona Q we even have a new player in the ring. The full rundown of your Most Wanted games is as follows:
