Keine E3 ohne Ubisoft! Für die E3 hat der Videospiel-Publisher Ubisoft am ersten Tag eine Pressekonferenz eingeplant, welche live über den Ubisoft-Kanal auf Youtube übertragen werden soll. Der Publisher hat für sein Lineup ein Schreiben veröffentlicht:
„High Definition
Already known for its growing collection of blockbuster brands, Ubisoft’s E3 line-up features high definition titles that set the bar for gaming creativity and quality, including: Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, Driver San Francisco, Rayman Origins and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
Online
Ubisoft is entering the online games market in earnest, giving customers continuous connections to their favourite games whenever and wherever they want. By offering innovative new online titles, Ubisoft is using this year’s E3 to announce its presence as a key player in the online games space. Titles on display include: From Dust, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online, and TrackMania2 Canyon.
Casual
Ubisoft rules the casual market, holding the number one third-party position on Kinect, 3DS and Wii. Ubisoft continues to pioneer on emerging mainstream technologies and creating games with real-life benefits that the whole family can enjoy. Ubisoft’s casual games featured at E3 include: The Adventures of Tintin, MotionSports Adrenaline, Rocksmith, the upcoming new Raving Rabbids, Just Dance, and Your Shape games.“
Zusammengefasst spricht Ubisoft über ihre High Definition-Spiele, welche durch ihre hohe Qualität überzeugten. Diese Tradition wollen sie in den kommenden Games, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, Driver San Francisco, Rayman Origins and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier, weiter fortführen. Darüber hinaus will Ubisoft die Online-Branche vergrößern, indem sie auch Spiele für diesen Sektor veröffentlichen.
Den 3DS selbst erwähnt der Publisher aber nur im Zusammenhang mit Casual Games, lässt aber aufgrund seiner Spieleaufzählung vermuten, dass uns ein neues Raving Rabbids erwarten wird. Man darf sich also mit Sicherheit noch auf eine Überraschung gefasst machen und auch auf mehr kommende 3DS-Spiele freuen! Gerüchten zufolge, soll Ubisoft beispielsweise das für HD-Systeme aufgeführte Rayman Origins auch für den 3DS in Planung haben.
Laut CEO Yves Guillemot feiert Ubisoft in diesen Tagen auch sein 25 jähriges Bestehen.
